Solvent Free Multi-component Synthesis of Amidoalkylnaphthols Using Phenylphosphinic Acid as an Organocatalyst
One pot solvent less synthesis of amidoalkylnaphthol derivatives via reaction of aldehydes, 2-naphthol and acetamide/urea in the presence of phenylphosphinic acid is described. This methodology provides a simple synthetic route to amidoalkylnaphthols in good to high yields.
متن کاملMulti-component Process for the Synthesis of Some Phosphonate Derivatives using Water as a Green Solvent
A novel, convenient and efficient multi-component reaction for synthesis of phosphonate derivatives from activated acetylenic compounds with 2-hydroxyacetophenone in the presence of phosphites in water lead to the formation of phosphonates in good yields.
متن کاملHydrogen Purity Analysis by FTIR
PROBLEM Historically, hydrogen has been employed in a variety of industrial chemical processes. Typically, the purity requirements for this hydrogen have tolerated contaminant levels ranging from ppm to low percentages, depending upon the application. The use of hydrogen has now expanded into novel applications such as alternative fuel for use in transportation and stationary electrical generat...
متن کاملDifferentiation of Anatolian honey samples from different botanical origins by ATR-FTIR spectroscopy using multivariate analysis.
Botanical origin of the nectar predominantly affects the chemical composition of honey. Analytical techniques used for reliable honey authentication are mostly time consuming and expensive. Additionally, they cannot provide 100% efficiency in accurate authentication. Therefore, alternatives for the determination of floral origin of honey need to be developed. This study aims to discriminate cha...
